History

The children's group Kalanda was founded in 2007. This is a choreographic ensemble for children. In the ensemble guys and girls dance. Ensemble has participated in many competitions. Ensemble repertoire contains from some dances. Ensemble has its own show program.

Eka Kalandadze

Eka Kalandadze, Artistic Director of Ensemble "Kalanda".she was born on March 8, 1979 in Tbilisi.She graduated from Ilia Chavchavadze State University in German language.she was obtained a Bachelor's Degree.She is a dance teacher from 2003.She is an experienced teacher.Currently she works as a dancing teacher at Tbilisi Public School # 138.

 

Levan Kalandadze

 

Levan Kalandadze was born on October 11, 1981 in Tbilisi.In 1999-2006 he worked Miscellaneous  Ensembles as a tutor. In the same year, he finished  Teachers' Qualification Enhancement and Professional Development Institute. From 2007 till present he is the choreographer of the ensemble "Kalanda".
